Director of Publicity

Key role:
In charge of publicising information and events

Proposed duties:
With the assistance of members to compile a regular update of urgent actions and news information and disseminate to members and associates, writing urgent actions, advertise events, assist in publishing the CHRP newsletter

Requirements:
Would suit someone with basic computer, editing and/or design skills, and with a desire to get more experience in human rights issues, research and publicity. Access to your own computer, and the Internet, would be essential.

Targets:
1. Produce, print and distribute (including electronically) 3 newsletters
2. Regular updating of the website
3. Write press releases on our campaigns & invites, distribute to press & attempt to get agreed resources into the media
