Karapatan Media Advisory for March 12:
Rights groups file complaints at the Commission on Human Rights on government-instigated incidents of red-tagging and terrorist-labelling

Karapatan, along with the Rural Missionaries of the Philippines (RMP), Ibon International, and Kabataan Partylist will file separate complaints at the Commission on Human Rights on March 12, 2019, Tuesday, 11:30AM.

Complaints filed by said rights groups are centered on the worsening incidents of red-tagging and terrorist-labelling that put rights defenders at greater risk. Karapatan cited recent incidents including the PH gov’t’s junket in diplomatic missions to red-tag said organizations.
